Achievements at NUST
· Rewrote NUST statutes with a view to modernizing it and bringing it in line with international standards.

· Formulated MSc and PhD policies/procedures for NUST.

· Designed and administered computer based NUST admission tests on the pattern of SAT and GRE.

· Designed, implemented and administered academic and research audit system for self evaluation and improvement of constituent colleges of NUST.

· Fostered academic and research collaborations with foreign institutions of international repute in US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, China, Singapore, Korea, etc.

· Represented NUST in various international forums including conferences, seminars, meetings etc.

· Played a key role in raising the academic standards of the university through initiation and up gradation of most of its master level programs to PhD level, developing split PhD programs with other collaborating institutions of international repute, improving the admission system and implementing the academic audit of its institutions for self improvement.

· Awarded MS and PhD scholarships under NUST split MS and faculty development programs respectively.
